My work is driven by a passion for socially burning, often philosophical, and above all, intimate and authentic stories that add depth to the narrative landscape. I aim to explore and expand both narrative and documentary filmmaking through the art of visual storytelling.
I focus on uncovering the unique visual potential of each project, creating images that serve the story and align with the director's vision. My goal is to develop a visual language that goes beyond mere aesthetics, while visually elevating the story.
Working with a range of technologies and tools, I strive to shape the psychological perception and atmosphere of each scene, from choosing the right equipment to integrating color grading into the lighting design. My approach involves planning throughout the production process, allowing me to create original, nuanced cinematography.
“Visually striking, a traditional aesthetic is reinterpreted and woven with dynamic ideas into a look rarely seen in its power, individuality, strength, and courage.
A sophisticated approach that transforms the portrayed individuals into icons while offering a glimpse into their hearts.”

“Using iconic images of bodies, Caroline Spreitzenbart demonstrates exceptional flair for daring shots, plays with coloured light and intensifies gestures through cleverly directed gazes.
This is all achieved in keeping with the overall artistic, innovative visual approach that immerses us as viewers in the film.”
